Professional Qualifications Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood
SPM with pass in English (SPM Subject Code in English - 1119)
Good Communication Skills
Cheerful, enthusiastic, team player
Willing to learn and take initiative
Computer Literate
Duties
Prepare lessons that are in line with the learning objectives stipulated in the Scheme of Work
Carry out administrative duties e.g. taking class attendance and collecting reply slips for field trips
Recognise the individual differences in children and provide the necessary learning support and motivation
Conduct lessons according to allocated time table
Provide necessary learning activities in class and at home to ensure understanding and reinforcement learning-
Reflect and evaluate lessons conducted
Evaluate children progress regularly using both formal and informal approach
Ensure safety and well-being of children
Encourage and provide emotional support for children in need
Provide routine care for children e.g. showering, toileting and serve meals (breakfast, lunch and tea)
Ensure children follow the centre’s rules and regulations
Maintain close communication with parents
Be a good team player
Perform class administration e.g. collect fees, reply slips, follow-up with parents
Organise and decorate classrooms to provide a conducive environment for learning
Carry out administrative duties as assigned by the supervisor e.g. organise excursion
Carry out relief cover to class whose teacher is absent
