Manager - Trade Compliance, Malaysia Operations

Responsibilities:


Good working knowledge of import and export procedures, regulations and requirements
Prepare and coordinate all shipping documentation such as Bill of Lading and Shipping Instruction
Communicate with shipping lines for bookings, rate enquiries, SI submission, etc.
Maintain close communication with overseas partners for any import or export shipments
Work closely with Operations department on arrangement for customs clearance, transportation, and any other services required
Maintain close communication with customers and attend any feedback or complaints
Responsible to prepare costing and invoicing to customers
Provide regular feedback and reporting to Management
Coordinate with and establish networking relationships with other related internal and external functions, eg Finance, Engineering, Order Admin, Law Dept. Customs brokers, freight forwarders, Ministry of International Trade & Industry, Customs, etc
Requirements:
Candidates must possess at least a Higher Secondary (SPM or equivalent)
Minimum 1-2 years of working experience in a related field
Required languages: English and Bahasa Malaysia
Good command in written and spoken English
Experience in both Seafreight and Airfreight will be an added advantage
Computer literate (Microsoft Word and Excel)
Malaysian citizen
Applicant must be willing to work in Kulau Lumpur, Malaysia
Full time position available immediately
